ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Weddings in Seychelles are held weekdays from Monday to Friday. For weddings on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and public holidays, there is a additional fee of 150€.
For a civil marriage in Seychelles 2 witnesses are mandatory, We provide the 2 witnesses on complimentary basis.
We need to receive a copy of documents by email, the very latest 12 working days before the wedding date. We must lodge your documents in advance at the Registrar Office in Seychelles. For documents received then 12 working days a late filing fee of 50€ applies.
UAE expatriate couples receive a Wedding Certificate issued by the Civil Status Office with Apostille issued by the Seychelles High Court and a Letter of Authentication issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since Nov. 2018 all UAE expatriate couples must have their wedding certificate attested by the UAE Embassy in Seychelles, the attestation fee 70€ only.
Your marriage certificate and the other documents mentioned above will be issued in Seychelles, about 5 to 7 working days after your wedding and will be sent to you by DHL courier (70€) or registered letter (25€) by mail to couple’s address.
